Terms and Conditions

1. PAYMENT AND RESERVATION
  • We require 100% down payment at least two (2) weeks before the event to confirm your booking; NONREFUNDABLE.
  • Ohwowpopcorn will only be serving on ground level within 30 meters from the drop off point.  An extra service charge of N10,000 will be charged to the customer for function held on second or higher floors.
  • Services beyond the schedule of Seven (7) hours will be charged N2000 per service crew for every succeeding hour.
2. POWER SUPPLY

We need a source of good power supply to power our machines especially the Icecream machine. We DO NOT supply power. Power supply is Client’s responsibility while we bring in connection cables of up to 20 feet. Our required rating for castles pump is 220v & minimum 1200watts.

However, we can help our client to hire a generator close to the venue if the client is willing to pay for the generator and fuelling.

3. POSTPONEMENT POLICY

Incase of an event postponement , terms will apply as listed below. Second postponement is considered a cancellation.

  • 1-7 days prior to the event 40% of the value of the contract will be charged, and 60% moved towards the new date.
  • 8-14 days prior to the event 20% of the value of the contract will be charged, & 80% moved towards the new date.
  • 15 days and above prior to the event Full credit would be forwarded to the new date. In the event that a new booking is made for same items for same date , up to 100% value can be forwarded to the new date.

Please note a new date is subject to availability, in this case an available date is suggested with no store credit or refund.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

In the Event of a cancellation , terms will apply as listed below. Second postponement is considered a cancellation.

  • 1-8 days prior to the Event 70% of the contract fee will be charged and 30% refund made.
  • 9-16 days prior to the Event 40% of the contract fee will be charged and a 60% refund made.
  • 17 days above prior to the Event 10% of contract fee would be charged to cover up the administrative costs of cancelling the Event 90% refund will be made.
  • In the event that a new booking is made for same items for same date , up to 100% value can be forwarded to the new date.
5. SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILIES

Even though we have Minders on-site to operate the machines and serve the kids as at when due, it is compulsory for parents to supervise and look after their kids. As Ohwowpopcorn will not be liable for injuries caused from unsupervised kids. We try to manage such occurrence as best as possible and our staffs are trained on first aid response.

6. ORDER PICKUP OR DELIVERY

Ohwowpopcorn enables delivery of orders by connecting third party service providers i.e. delivery partners (like Uber) who will be responsible for providing the delivery services. Client can also arrange for personal pickup or third party pickup of their order.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

In an event of natural disaster, loss of life, emergency lock down, protest or whatsoever excluding rain. An event postponement or cancellation can be discussed for mutual benefits. But whatever the case maybe we will have to charge not less than 50% of Subtotal.

Refund will be treated within 24hour – 72hours after processing.
